INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION LEGIONS OF HONOR
80th Annual Convention
March 22-27, 2011

Dear Nobles and Ladies,

I am excited to invite you to Branson, Missouri, for the 80th Annual convention of the International Association Legions of Honor. Lady Debbie and I have planned a convention full of fun and excitement. The Hilton Hotel and Convention Center is a new and beautiful facility. All events will be held in the Convention Center, which is connected to the hotel. Branson Landing is a short block away. A trolley runs from end to end of the 1 mile strip of shops, pubs, restaurants, and shopping, Shopping, SHOPPING! Bass Pro Shop is located at the Landing so the guys can be entertained while the Ladies shop. Of course, there is the Branson strip along Hyw. 76 that consists of miles of theaters that feature numerous entertainers, restaurants, outlet malls, gift and novelty shops, and on and on.

Don't forget the fishing! Branson Landing runs along the shore of Lake Taneycomo, known for its trout fishing. Table Rock Lake is known for its bass fishing and is located close to Branson as well. There is plenty for everyone to do, so come early and stay late, and enjoy what the area has to offer.

For any golfers, or those who think they are golfers, I will host a golf tournament on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Murder Rock Golf and Country Club, a John Daly course. It is nestled in the beautiful Ozark hills and is a great course. Don't let the term "tournament" scare you away. We are all a bunch of duffers but love the game all the same. I have acquired some nice prizes, so be sure to join us for a chance to win.

When I first ran for the International line, my campaign theme was "Build the Future with Butch". Since this convention will be a celebration for my term of office, I have selected "Butch the Builder" as the theme for the Welcome Party. It will allow me to dress in my usual work attire...maybe. I invite each of you to dress as the hidden contractor you hold inside. Beyond that, it is hush hush about what may happen, but plan on having some fun!

Lady Debbie has chosen "A Little Black Dress and a String of Pearls" as the theme for the Ladies' Luncheon. I guess the "dress" for that event is obvious. I know there will be entertainment, but she will not share more information than that with me yet.

The banquet theme is "Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls". We are planning an elegant evening that will end early enough for a little last minute visiting in the hospitality room.

We are excited to invite you to the "SHO ME" state where we plan to show you some fun!

And don't forget to support the IALOH with your purchase of the first IALOH Officer Calendar. The calendars sell for $20, but the entertainment value is priceless!

Fraternally yours,

Butch Arnold
Commander
